Jawbreakers are a series of paintings that are inspired by “Fordite,” a material created through the continuous layering of paint that occurs in factory production spaces.
Fordite is a man made geology that questions the divide between natural and artificial. By emulating this technique, structural artifacts are produced that blur the lines between building material, sculpture and painting.
